One of the great resources from ALEKS is:

Grades 3 to 12 standards for all 50 states have been correlated in ALEKS is located here. ALEKS courses generally have a very good to excellent correlation with the corresponding standards for a given US state or territory.

I love using ALEKS because of the individuality care is so involved for the child yet is simple to use for the user. My kind of program! There is so much detail is put into the design of the program. The single one area that we love the most is the Quick Tables.

ALEKS QuickTables is a research-based math fact mastery tool for multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction for grades 3 and up.

My children enjoy taking the Quick Tables daily and both my boys have improved on their math immensely just by participating with this feature. It’s sort of like flashcards, but it’s interactive and at the same time they improve their typing skills; especially their number keyboard. My older child was having trouble with his multiplication, but after using this program for some weeks now, he has improved immensely. I can definitely see the results in my children math using this wonderful program.

At the beginning of signing up for ALEKS each child you sign in has to take an assessment test. The test probably lasted about 15 minutes. After the first initial assessment; ALEKS provides the user with a complete individual report on what the child knows now and also which areas the child needs more practice in.
The visual report for the individual child is set as a pie chart. You can immediately see where your child is at in their learning. The theory behind ALEKS is quite amazing!

On top of all of this, I receive personal emails on my children’s progress for that period of use. Other features that I enjoy is that you can use ALEKS at any computer with online access, and no textbooks used! The child only needs to log-in with their password. ALEKS can definitely be used for the main Mathematics course or as we are now using it as a supplement. I know I will (as a homeschool mother) be using ALEKS in the future.

ALEKS is available for a variety of subjects and courses in K-12, Higher Education, and Continuing Education. You can view the courses here.

ALEKS course products are currently being used by hundreds of thousands of students annually in over 50 courses ranging from Grade 3 Mathematics to Precalculus at thousands of K-12 schools and higher education institutions throughout the world.
