National Public Gardens Day, May 11th -Free Entry for Mothers

Botanical Gardens celebrates National Public Gardens Day, Mother’s Day weekend!

Here is a list of PARTICIPATING PUBLIC GARDENS.

The nearest one to us is the: South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.

First, Friday, May 11, STBGNC and many other member gardens of the American Public Gardens Association (APGA) begins Mothers’ Day Weekend with National Public Gardens Day, but not limited to mothers!  In Better Homes & Gardens May issue, an APGA/BHG advertisement directs readers to a website where they can print a coupon for two free admissions, for May 11 only, at listed participating member gardens.
  
Plus, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 11 through 13, at Visitors Center Check-in, all a mother needs to say is “Moms Love Flowers!”, and she gets in free!  Sorry, the rest of the family pays general admission.  But families can remedy that with this SPECIAL MOMS DAY DEAL-- Buy Mom a Single, Couple, Family or Grandparent membership that weekend, at 20% off-- for a year’s worth of free admission for the family, the 200-garden reciprocal admission program, Nature’s Boutique gift shop discount, a year’s free subscription to Better Homes & Gardens magazine, and 10 percent discount on non-sale merchandise at Turner’s Gardenland!
