Curriculum Clean-Out 2010: Writers Express GIVEAWAY!

What exactly IS the Curriculum Clean-Out?

"Essentially, it's a blog carnival. Homeschool Creations will be the host site for all the permalinks to the various curriculum giveaways. I have quite a few extra books and homeschool things on my shelves that we won't be using, and it's a shame to have them sit and collect dust. I'm cleaning off my shelves in order to pass along some great products to other families. Other families will be cleaning off their shelves and holding giveaways on their blogs and linking back here." ~from Homeschool Creations Giveaway Rules Page.

Well, what am I giving away for my very FIRST Curriculum Clean-Out?? One book that I really love to use with my son right now (this is an extra copy I am giving away) Because my son is not an avid writer, we are starting to just break this book open and I pray that by the end of this year; his writing skills will have been greatly improved by using this book.

This is only our second year of homeschooling, but it has been a true blessing to be able to do so and my boys are learning in Truth and Knowledge---and that's all a mother can ask for! :)

This book is not the newest edition, but I still love it and its content is superb!

Jessica, I would really find it useful to have this book. This year, they are requiring us at school to implement a writers' workshop with our kids, but I don't really know where to start. We do not have a writing curriculum yet we have to do what they are asking us to. Therefore, I would use this book to read about the writing process and I would share it with my peers to help them do the same for their classrooms. My email address is mirimart@hotmail.com
