AS YOU WILL NOTICE: Most of the boys curriculum are repeated for group learning. We like this approach and even though some of the curriculum is geared more towards our 8th grader....some of the material will not be required of our 5th grader. Most of our lesson are to be read out loud because both are auditory learners and this approach works well with narration and learning.

Hello Gail! Thank you for visiting. Yes, we used TLP for the first time this past year...only one book though...Shiloh. I really like TLP!! Though, my boys read alot and quickly --it's seems kinda slow for them. I mean there's like 12-15 question for Chap. 1, vocabulary, etc. etc. and before I know it they've already read like 8 chapters...

So they 'try' to leave the TLP behind. :) I find that if I just read out the questions orally and get their answers/comprehension--it's good enough for me. And some of the other activities to keep in a folder. :) I find that my 9 y/o likes to draw/color a scene in the book and that really becomes his book report. lol. __But I do like TLP!

Yes, the photo of our learning room is a couple of year old, but I've only added another bookshelf (stocked with more books)...so I just reposted it. ;) Thank you!! Hope this helps a little...
