In my life this week...
The boys took the Terra Nova all week long. A few appts here and there.
In our homeschool this week...
Didn't do much homeschooling, due to the Terra Nova. I just made sure they knew the schedule for each day, good night's rest, good breakfast, and wished them well for their test-taking skills. :)
Places we're going and people we're seeing...
On Monday, I was notified that we were bumped up on the waiting list (to go to an Army Spouse Retreat) to head to Garmisch for the weekend!! So super excited to go always. It's such a relaxing weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of Army life.
My favorite thing this week was...
Getting to visit Garmisch of course. It was a little rainy, snowy, and cold, but ---we stayed inside the hotel for some quality time...in a different setting. I didn't have to clean, cook, for three days!! Always nice!! ;) LOL!!
What's working/not working for us...
Well, I don't have much to say about this at the moment since we haven't done any homeschooling for the past week. The boys just used study-guides for the Terra Nova. I was suprised to see though that the guides didn't cover Science or Social Studies. Wondering why?? Hmm...
Homeschool questions/thoughts I have...
Well, almost finishing up the line-up (i.e.-homeschool resources) for next year, still need to decide on somethings...
A photo, video, link, or quote to share...
Having dinner at one of the resort restaurants...fun evening and yes, I have a child who didn't want to participate in the photo op. After we ate dinner, the boys had fun at the arcade. They thought is was a fantastic evening. I had to taking tylenol after all that noise (arcade). LOL!! Oh, the things we do to entertain children....

Lovely photo! Stopping by from MSB Community. It's nice to find another homeschooling military family in Germany. We arrived here end of August 2010. What about you?
